With ISO Class 7 (10,000) cleanroom facilities and ISO13485 certification Primasil have supplied the medical device market throughout this period, always recognizing that quality is the most important factor for medical device companies.

Primasil specialize in liquid silicone injection moulded parts, extruded platinum cured silicone, and assembly and packaging work in three separate cleanroom areas. These are supplied under the "Medisil" brand name.

Working in partnership at all stages from concept through design and development to full production Primasil will also assist in product validation.

Prototypes are developed hand-in-hand with the customer with our tooling experts using the latest CAD software to achieve the optimum component design. Secondary assembly operations can often be removed by the inclusion of undercuts and other design features. Tooling is commissioned form one of our preferred tooling specialists, enabling the most time efficient route to production.

Primasil only use the latest machinery, with brand new liquid silicone presses and silicone extrusion lines now in place. This allows full control of production enabling tight tolerances to be met and high levels of repeatability. Fully automated production is possible for many liquid silicone components.

Laser etching is available on the platinum cured silicone extrusion, which can include batch number, production date, brand names, etc.

Primasil use medical grade silicone, which complies with FDA, USP Class VI, and European Pharmacopoeia standards. A team of Material Technologists is available to answer any questions relating to material and can guide you to the correct choice of material if required.
