An example is the Grant Asymptote EF600, the first nitrogen and cryogen free controlled rate freezer used in human and animal IVF. Unlike conventional controlled rate cooling equipment used in IVF, the EF600 poses no contamination risk and can be used in cleanrooms. The EF600 employs an electrically powered Stirling cycle engine as its cooling source. It is simple to operate and does not require a constant supply of cryogen.

The Grant Asymptote EF600 will be on show on the Grant booth as well as a range of block heaters and data loggers.
