Bioscience York is an industry-led network that brings together organisations and individuals working in the life sciences to assist with supply chain development and encourage a climate of entrepreneurship and collaboration. In the field of medical innovation Bioscience York's technology strengths include medical devices, wound care, oncology, contract research and diagnostics.

Membership of Bioscience York is free, and open to all. Members include:

Bioscience York provides networking events, training, news updates and a website where members can post their own news stories, business profiles and job vacancies (www.bioscienceyork.org.uk). Technology-based enterprises in York & North Yorkshire can also access Science City York's specialist business support services.

Bioscience York is supported by Yorkshire Forward, the Regional Development Agency for Yorkshire and the Humber. By working closely with Yorkshire Forward and other key partners, Bioscience York identifies and implements activities to increase the critical mass of businesses in York and North Yorkshire, and to leverage the strength of the science base to attract collaboration and joint venturing.
